CS2 Crosshair Practice Map: Test Visibility Before Matches
Use repeatable scenes and the same weapon so a map test answers a visibility question instead of creating noise.
What to Test
Use a practice map or the Workshop generator to check a distant head, a close target, a pale wall, a dark corner, and a short burst after stopping. The goal is to find where the crosshair becomes hard to read, not to rank maps by aesthetics.
Keep the Comparison Fair
Save the first code. Change only one control between runs. Use the same resolution, brightness, weapon, and distance. Test a static and a dynamic candidate with the same drill if you are deciding whether movement feedback helps.
Finish in the Real Client
Workshop previews are not the final display. Import or rebuild the candidate in Crosshair/Scopes, test it at your normal settings, and export the version you keep. If the map is missing, the menu and testing routine are enough.
For the listed Workshop features, see the CS2 Crosshair Map guide.
