CS2 Crosshair Codes
A practical CS2 crosshair code page with copyable starter presets, sourced pro-player share-code snapshots, and an import checklist.
What Counts as a CS2 Crosshair Code?
Players search for "CS2 crosshair code" in two different ways:
- A share code starts with
CSGO-and is imported through the in-game Crosshair menu. - A console preset is a copyable group of
cl_crosshair*commands.
The share-code route is fastest when you trust the source. The command route is better when you want to understand and adjust size, gap, outline, color, dot, and movement behavior.
Copyable Starter Presets
These presets use standard CS2 crosshair console commands. Paste one line into the developer console, then test visibility on light and dark map backgrounds before keeping it.
| Preset | Best for | Copy this |
|---|---|---|
| Compact green static | A clean first setup for rifles | cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairsize 2; cl_crosshairthickness 1; cl_crosshairgap -2; cl_crosshaircolor 1; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 1; cl_crosshair_outlinethickness 1 |
| Small cyan static | Players who want less screen coverage | cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairsize 1.5; cl_crosshairthickness 0.5; cl_crosshairgap -3; cl_crosshaircolor 4; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 1; cl_crosshair_outlinethickness 1 |
| Dot practice | Short aim-practice sessions | cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairsize 0; cl_crosshairthickness 1; cl_crosshairgap -4; cl_crosshairdot 1; cl_crosshaircolor 1; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 1 |
| High contrast white | Testing against green and blue backgrounds | cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairsize 2; cl_crosshairthickness 0.5; cl_crosshairgap -2; cl_crosshaircolor 5; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255; cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_b 255; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 1 |
Pro Share-Code Snapshots
Professional player share codes change over time. Treat these as source snapshots, not permanent identity markers. Import one, inspect the result, and save your own copy if it fits your resolution.

If a live database shows a different code for the same player, prefer the source with the newer timestamp and then test the imported shape in game. That is normal for CS2 because players can change crosshairs between events.
How to Import a Share Code
- Copy a
CSGO-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxxcode. - Open Counter-Strike 2.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Game.
- Open Crosshair.
- Choose Share or Import.
- Paste the code and confirm.
After importing, take a screenshot of the preview or copy the resulting command values into your config notes. That gives you a fallback if the original database updates later.
Quick Test Before Keeping a Code
- Check whether the crosshair covers a distant head at common angles.
- Test the color on bright map areas, dark corners, smoke edges, and player models.
- Fire a short spray and decide whether dynamic feedback helps or distracts you.
- Try the same code at your real resolution, because stretched 4:3 and 16:9 can make one code feel different.
