New CS2 Crosshair Codes: Updated Presets and Pro Snapshots
A source-aware CS2 crosshair code directory with derived presets, dated pro snapshots, import steps, and a testing path.
Pick the Right Kind of Code
If you are searching because the new CS2 update changed an old setup, start with the crosshair migration checklist. If the query is about a pro snapshot, check the source date before calling a code “new.”
There are two useful answers behind the search term "CS2 crosshair code":
- A share code starts with
CSGO-and imports through the in-game Crosshair/Scopes menu. - A command preset is a bundle of
cl_crosshair*console commands that you can tune one value at a time.
Share codes are fastest when the source is clear. Command presets are better when you want a starting shape and plan to adjust size, gap, thickness, outline, color, or dot behavior yourself.
New CS2 Crosshair Codes After the 2026 Update
There is no universal “new” code that Valve has confirmed for every player. After the September 2026 settings refresh, use a dated CSGO- share-code snapshot as a starting point, then check its selected style and visible result in Settings -> Crosshair/Scopes. A code can import successfully while still looking different from an older screenshot.
For a current starting point, choose one of the dated player snapshots below or build a menu recipe from this page. Import one code at a time, test it on your usual resolution, and export your adjusted version. If the import does nothing, use the CS2 crosshair code not working checklist. If the import works but the shape changed, read the CS2 crosshair update guide before replacing it.
Build a Safe Starter in the Menu
Valve's September 23, 2026 note says the newer crosshair system uses pixel-based length and thickness values and rescales them when resolution changes. Because of that, this page does not present old cl_crosshairsize 1.5 style bundles as post-update tested presets.
Use the Crosshair/Scopes menu to build one of these starter directions, then export the resulting share code from your own client:
| Starter direction | Status | Choose it when | First thing to adjust |
|---|---|---|---|
| Static rifle baseline | Derived menu recipe | You want a quiet reference for rifles | Length, then gap |
| Small low-coverage setup | Derived menu recipe | The center blocks heads at range | Length, then thickness |
| Dot practice setup | Derived menu recipe | You are training first-bullet center placement | Dot visibility, then outline |
| High-contrast setup | Derived menu recipe | Green or cyan disappears on your maps | Color, then outline |
| Dynamic feedback setup | Derived menu recipe | You want inaccuracy feedback while moving or spraying | Dynamic spread limit |
If you need an importable starting point, choose a dated CSGO- snapshot below. None has been imported in-game by this site; inspect the current preview and save your own version.
Dated Pro Share-Code Snapshots
Professional players change crosshairs. Treat every code here as a public database snapshot from a named source and date, then test it in your own client. Do not treat any row as a permanent or official setup.
| Player | Share code | Source and date | Why it is useful |
|---|---|---|---|
| NiKo | CSGO-m89VO-6zPDr-53TJ9-OySAJ-V8Y2Q | CS2pedia June 2026 pull | Older third-party listing; no newer clean NiKo match-linked source is recorded here. |
| ropz | CSGO-nCfX7-54ue9-aC5eV-6Womf-Q6izO | Total CS, Aurora vs Vitality, 2026-09-20 | Third-party match snapshot; the same string is also shown on Total CS's ZywOo page for this match. |
| ZywOo | CSGO-nCfX7-54ue9-aC5eV-6Womf-Q6izO | Total CS, Aurora vs Vitality, 2026-09-20 | Same recorded string as ropz on Total CS; neither player has confirmed it on this site. |
| donk | CSGO-VeUo2-qw76k-xJeKX-izb9a-GVOAK | Total CS, Spirit vs MOUZ, 2026-09-06 | Recent rifler snapshot already used by the site and rechecked for date. |
| m0NESY | CSGO-rhGN2-7Zucb-LSBc6-ksfxq-4n5VH | Total CS, Spirit vs Falcons, 2026-09-05 | Recent AWP snapshot already used by the site and rechecked for date. |
| s1mple | CSGO-UseJt-3oTvn-47wPX-hEyER-WZfiK | Total CS, BC.Game vs paiN, 2026-05-21 | Traceable current Total CS page entry, but older than the September 2026 crosshair updates. |
How to Import a Share Code
Valve's September 22, 2026 update moved crosshair settings into a Crosshair/Scopes tab and made the crosshair system resolution independent. Use that route first; older guides may still say Settings > Game > Crosshair.
- Copy a
CSGO-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxxcode. - Open Counter-Strike 2.
- Open Settings.
- Open Crosshair/Scopes.
- Choose Share or Import.
- Paste the code and confirm.
- Export or write down your adjusted version after testing.
Five-Minute Test Before Keeping a Code
- Check whether the center blocks a distant head at common rifle angles.
- Look at bright walls, dark corners, player models, and smoke edges.
- Fire a short spray and decide whether movement feedback helps or distracts.
- Change only one value at a time: size, then gap, then thickness, then outline.
- Test at your real resolution. The post-update system rescales pixel counts, but a shape can still feel different across aspect ratios and monitor sizes.
What Not to Trust Blindly
- A code is not official just because it has a famous player name beside it.
- A database row can be current for that database while still being older than the current CS2 client.
- A Workshop map preset is useful for preview and testing, but it is not proof of a player's live setup.
- A copied command preset should be treated as a starting point until you save your own version.
Next Steps
Choose a starting point here, import it with How to Import a CS2 Crosshair Code, test it with the CS2 crosshair testing routine, tune the visible symptom in the CS2 crosshair commands guide, then keep a backup code in your notes.
