CS2 Dynamic Spread Limit: Tune Movement Feedback
Use the spread-limit control to make dynamic feedback easier to read, not to change weapon accuracy.
What the Setting Controls
Valve's September 23 update note describes a Dynamic Spread Limit for the newer dynamic crosshair behavior. It gives players a control for the displayed dynamic spread. It does not make the weapon more accurate or change when a player should stop before firing.
Compare It Without Changing the Whole Crosshair
Save your current share code. Select Dynamic Quad or another available dynamic style in Settings -> Crosshair/Scopes. Keep color, length, and outline constant while changing the spread limit. In practice, strafe, stop, fire a single shot, then repeat with a short burst. Ask whether the movement makes settling easier to read or pulls attention away from the target.
Repeat the same sequence with a static style. Keep the setting that supports your actual target reading; there is no universal value for every weapon, display, or player.
Continue with the dynamic crosshair comparison and testing routine.
